This course is designed for participants new to employee benefits, human resource generalists looking to develop more in depth knowledge in retirement plan benefits, and college students interested in the HR/employee benefits field.
 
Retirement Plan Bootcamp is a half-day event featuring lecture style learning. Participants will learn about why employers offer retirement plans, plan design, plan operation, annual compliance and reporting, plan investments and participant education, and best practices.

Nancy earned the CFP® designation with a Financial Planning Certificate through the University of California, Berkeley in 2021.  She is active with the Western Pension and Benefits Council and WE Inspire. Crystal is a principal at CLA with 20+ years of professional experience and focuses her time exclusively on audits of ERISA plans. Crystal is a leader within CLA 's national ERISA practice and is a frequent presenter at regional and national conferences. Crystal has experience along the full array of employee benefit plans, including defined contribution plans, defined benefit plans, ESOPs and health & welfare plans.
